GMC Alum Corey Washington getting his shot in the NFL
Former Georgia Military wide receiver is getting his chance in the NFL with the New York Giants. Washington, a fourth round pick played his final two seasons at Division II Newberry College in neighboring South Carolina.
Washington finished his final two years hauling in 22 touchdown passes. The 6 ft 4 inch Washington is looking to take the place of Hakeem Nicks (now with the Indianapolis Colts) and has caught the attention of coaches with his 73 yard TD catch giving the Giants the winning score in the Hall of Fame Game.
