Chastain named NJCAA Offensive Player of the Week

Closing out the regular season in style, Chastain lit up the scoreboard in the Bulldogs’ 43-25 win over Lackawanna. Completing 21-of-31 passes, the freshman threw for 342 yards and five touchdowns in the Georgia Military victory. Chastain set new career marks in completion percentage, passing yards and passing touchdowns. Chastain averaged 211.9 yds per game passing with 20 touchdown passes. The No. 20 Bulldogs and their signal-caller finished the regular season with a 7-3 record and will face No. 5 Navarro in the C.H.A.M.P.S. Heart of Texas Bowl.
