Lady Tigers earn prestigious academic award
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) recently announced their 2015-2016 College Team Academic Award Winners, and the Andrew College Lady Fighting Tigers, based on their team grade point average (GPA) of 3.41, were named a recipient of this honor. To qualify for this award, the team must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 for the entire academic year. The team GPA is determined by adding every players GPA, then dividing by the number of players.
The players who contributed to this honor were: Alina Rodriguez, Caterina Yibirin, Hannah Stanley, Ashley Hagenbaugh, Rachel Bogue, Alys Maynord, Kayla Kieffer, Hayley Hall, Azizat Bakare, Ilaria Berni, Sydney Hoiberg, Carleigh Hoelzel, Kourtnry Mydlowski, Sarah Woodcock, Emily Boggess, Brooke Clark, Tessa Bates, Carly Colella, Savanna Palmer, Sydney Oliver, Sadie Springer, Raquel Hauss, Agnes Evangelista, Emaleigh Adcox, and Bria Wilson.
The Lady Tigers were the lone soccer program in the GCAA to receive this award.
