ALBANY- In a game of the GCAA unbeatens, it turned out that it wasn't much of a contest in the end. A high powered offensive attack led the Darton Cavaliers over the ABAC Fillies by a score of 10-1.
It didn't take long for the Lady Cavs to take possession control throughout the match. Darton scored its first goal of the match by Dani Weyer at the seven minute mark and never looked back.
The barrage of shots continued as the Cavs scored three more goals, two by Brittanie Evans and one by Karol Vieria to take a 4-0 halftime lead.
Darton came out and continued the second half assault with four more goals, two each by Weyer and Jemina Job to increase a commanding 8-0 lead.
Myesha Robinson scored fifteen minutes into the second half to eliminate a shut out 8-1, but that was the only score the Fillies would get.
The Cavaliers would net two more goals to finish the rout. Weyer would collect the hat trick for Darton with Evans and Job each scoring two goals apiece.
For the conference, Darton take sole possession of first place with the victory, while moving ABAC into second place.
