GCAA Women's Basketball Post Season Tips Off

The GCAA women's basketball post season started tonight with two play-in games with winners advancing to this week's tournament on the campus of South Georgia Tech in Americus. Seeding was finalized last week for the region tournament. 

South Georgia Tech secured the number one seed going 14-1 in conference play and as a result will host the semis and finals and receive a first round bye. Albany Tech finished second in conference play 11-4 and received the second seed via a tie-breaker with East Georgia State.
