East Georgia State came into the tournament as the number one seed going undefeated in conference play with the Lady Bobcats three losses coming in the first two weeks of the season. In the first semifinal game, EGSC ended the season for Albany Tech 90-59 moving the Lady Bobcats to the title game. The second game, the Lady Titans eliminated the Lady Jets of Albany Tech 73-67 setting up Saturday's title game.
