Women's DI Basketball Teams Turn Focus To GCAA Tournament

The GCAA DI women's basketball regular season moves to postseason action this Tuesday with first round play-in games to be hosted by seeds 2-4. South Georgia Tech by virtue of winning the regular season will host the two semi-final games on Friday and conclude on Saturday with the championship game in Americus. 

Tuesday's opening round match ups will be: # 2 Georgia Highlands hosts #7 Andrew;  #3 Central Georgia Tech will host #6 Atlanta Metro;  #4 East Georgia State will host #5 Albany Tech. All games on Tuesday will start at 6 PM.
