GCAA basketball players earn All American accolades

The NJCAA released their Men's and Women's Basketball All-American Awards for the 2016-2017 season, which including several GCAA players garnering post season accolades. 

Georgia Highland's Kyvon Davenport was named to the Men's DI first team squad and South Georgia State's Zaquavian Smith was named to the second team squad. Zachary Breathwaite from Oxford Emory was named to the men's DIII as a honorable mention member.          

East Georgia State College's Shunseere Kent was named to the Women's DI second team. While Kemoni Jenkins from Atlanta Metropolitan and Desiree Corbin of South Georgia Tech were named honorable mention. Anna Watkins from West Georgia Tech was named to the women's DIII second team.
