GMC's Bunn reaches 400 win milestone
Georgia Military College Head Coach Ashley Bunn hit a major milestone last weekend with her 400th career win by defeating Gordon State 6-1. Bunn started at GMC in 2010 after a successful career at Valdosta State where she won conference championships as both a player and a coach. She took over a GMC program that was six years old and had been reasonably successful. Since then, GMC has been a consistent contender on both levels and has rewritten the record books for the program.

From 2012-2014, GMC she laid the foundation that would provide her Bulldogs sustained success on a yearly basis. She has now built her program into a perennial, regional power. She captured her first GCAA Conference Championship in 2016. In the last five seasons the team has had a .708 winning percentage and won 30 or more games each season. Her team's 47 wins in 2017 still stands as a GMC record today.
Bunn has amassed 20 or more wins in 10 seasons. She has won several GCAA Championships include the last two consecutive years and taken four teams to the NJCAA National Championship tournaments.

Coach Bunn stated, "As coaches, we are measured by our successes both on and off the field. To reach this milestone in my career is just a testament to those around me. I have been surrounded by players who have succeeded on and off the field. I have had assistant coaches who have poured their hearts into the program, and they are just as responsible for all of these wins as well. I am truly grateful for everyone who has been a part of my journey so far. I want to thank Georgia Military College for all of their support along the way."
