Three GCAA players named NJCAA All Americans

The NJCAA released their Softball All-American Awards for the 2016-2017 season which included three GCAA players garnering post season accolades. 

Georgia Highlands College Brianna Fickes and Andria Booth were named to the Women's DI third team. Danielle Downs from Georgia Military was also named to the third team. 

All three players were named to the GCAA first team All Region. Fickes finished the year batting .455, 73 RBI's and 20 HR's, all league leading. Booth batted .444 with 33 RBI's, 63 runs and 32 stolen bases. Downs posted 22 wins on the season with 97 strikeouts. Offensively Downs hit .413, 67 RBI's and 8 HR's.
