Browne, Lady Tigers top Roane State

CARTERSVILLE, Ga. -- Shaeline Browne went 3 for 3, drove in 4-RBI with a pair of 2-run homeruns, Katelynn Simpson went 3 for 4 with 2-RBI, and Kierra West went 3 for 3 and scored 3 runs, as the Lady Fighting Tigers knocked off Roane State CC (AL) 10-6 Saturday afternoon in the Georgia Highlands College Border Battle. Macy Ivester (1-1) picked up the win in the circle, while Charlie Smith notched her 1st save of the season.
Andrew returns to the Hord Athletic Complex for doubleheader versus Wallace State- Dothan on Tuesday, first game is at 4:00 pm.
The ladies look to make their debut under the lights in game two.
