Oxford sweeps GCAA Cross Country Titles for 2nd Consecutive Year; Aspiras wins individual event

CONYERS -  Oxford Emory swept the 2018 Region 17 Cross Country Championships at the Heritage Horse Park in Conyers. The Eagles took the titles in what was nearly a perfect score for the men's team. 

Eagles Alden Aspiras won the men's 8,000-meter run. Aspiras finished the 8K (5 miles) in 29:49.9.   

Oxford-Emory won taking the top spots finishing one place away from a perfect score 16 points. Georgia Military College took 2nd with 45 points.
