GMC Captures Men's Soccer Title: Advance to Southeast District Championship

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Georgia Military College and Andrew College continued their best two-of three series to determine the GCAA champion and represent Region 17 in post season play. 

Andrew hosted Game 1 on October 5th and came away with a 10-1 win. The two teams squared off again on the 22nd at GMC with the home Bulldogs coming away with a 10-0 win and securing the GCAA title. The final game this past Thursday at Andrew was also a 10-0 win giving the Bulldogs a sweep of the Tigers.

Bulldogs Forward Julian Rivera was named GCAA Player of the Year and Dave Sexton was named Coach of the Year.

GMC currently sits at 11-3-1 on the season and will travel to Patrick Henry to face the Region 10 champion for the NJCAA DII Southeastern District Championship Friday November 4th, 7PM.
