GMC takes men's soccer title; advances to district

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Georgia Military College and Andrew College once again competed in a best two-of three series to determine the GCAA champion and represent Region 17 in post season play.  

GMC hosted Game 1 on October 10th and came away with a 3-0 win. The two teams squared off again on the 16th at Andrew with the visiting Bulldogs coming away with a 7-0 win and securing the GCAA title. The final game this past Saturday at GMC was a 6-0 win giving the Bulldogs a sweep of the Tigers.

Bulldogs Midfielder Nicholas Milot was named GCAA Player of the Year and Dave Sexton was named Coach of the Year.

GMC currently sits at 13-2 on the season and will travel to Region 10 to face their champion for the NJCAA DII South Eastern District Championship Saturday November 6.
