GCAA Baseball postseason to start this week.

The 2017 GCAA regular season has culminated and now the GCAA / Region 17 tournament starts on Wednesday of this week. 

East Georgia State secured the regular season title last week and the #1 seed, yet the remaining #2 - #6 seeds were not determined until the last day of the regular season this past Saturday.  Georgia Highlands College comes in with the #2 seed. The #3, #4 and #5 seeds was determined by a tie breaker and are held by ABAC, Gordon and South Georgia State respectively. Andrew comes in as the #6 seed. 

East Georgia State has also secured a spot in the East Central District Tournament next week in Tennessee. If EGSC wins this week's tournament then they will hold the GA #1 seed, if not, they will take the GA# 2 seed. Should one of the other five schools win the tournament they will go to district as the GA #1 seed otherwise as they will be the GA #2 seed at district. 

The GCAA tournament will be May 10-13 and will be hosted by Georgia Highlands College in Emerson, GA at the LakePoint facility .
