ABAC Pulls Off Second Straight Defeat of Gordon in Extra Innings

In a back and forth game, it was the ABAC Stallions (17-14, 5-1 GCAA) who struck the final blow to beat Gordon State College (19-15, 4-2 GCAA) in Barnesville 6-5 in 10 innings Wednesday afternoon.
With one out in the top of the 10th, catcher Hunter Bramlett drew a walk, stole second base, and scored on a Kole Adams RBI single that would be the eventual winning run as closer Austin Guest came in to earn his sixth save of the season throwing a scoreless 10th inning to secure an ABAC win.
Bramlett was 2 for 4 in the game with his 4th homerun of the season and 2 runs scored. Nick Higginbotham was the only other Stallion with multiple hits as he went 4 for 5. Jud George(3-0) earned his second win in two days, tossing two innings of no-hit relief.
Jordan Howard led the Highlander offense going 3 for 5 and Aubrey McCarty was 1 for 5 with a double and 2 RBI's.
ABAC and Gordon conclude the series Saturday with a doubleheader set to start at 12 Noon in Barnesville.
