The Fillies entered the tournament as the third seed and won three games over the two day doublr elimination tournament. On day one of the GCAA tournament ABAC defeated the GMC Bulldogs 3-2 on the first game on Wednesday. ABAC then finished the evening by defeating #4 seed East Georgia 8-0, putting the Fillies in the title game. The Championship game saw ABAC come from behind and defeat Gordon State 3-2 in extra innings take the win and the GCAA title.
The Fillies host Florence- Darlington from Region 10 for a best two out of three series this Wednesday in Tifton for the Mid Atlantic District Championship.
