GCAA Softball to showcase sophomores at All-star event

August 13, 2019

Saturday September 7th the GCAA softball teams will send their sophomore players to Mercer University to participate in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association Sophomore All-Star Showcase festivities. The format for the event will begin with a pro-style workout which will precede the game. Nearly 35 players are slated to run the 20 yard dash for time, throw from their positions, hit batting practice, catching POP times and pitcher bullpens in the morning from 10 AM to 12noon and then the doubleheader scrimmage is set to begin at 2pm. The seven schools are divided between two teams.
