ATC Titans drop Tigers, remain tied for first place
The Albany Tech Titans played host to the Tigers of Andrew College tonight in Albany. The Titans have jumped out this season to a quick start winning their first five conference games and tied for first place.
The first half was a tight battle with several lead changes but the close half saw the Titans go into the first have with a 34-32 lead.
Starting the 2nd half, the Titans methodically increased over the course of 20 minutes increasing that lead and pulled away with a 14 point victory 76-62.
ATC had four players finish in double figures. Vinny Viana led all scorers with 26 points and Jacquez Fountain added 19. Jalen Brown and Octavious Fudge scored 10 points each for the Titans. Keith Littles led the Tigers with 15 points.
The Titans will travel to Georgia Highlands College this Saturday to take on the Chargers who are also undefeated in the conference.
