Morris wins ABCA / Rawlings Gold Glove Award
Albany, GA.-- Tyler Morris has been named to the Rawlings Gold Glove Award team by the National Junior College Athletic Associations. Morris was one of four infielders within the NJCAA Division 1 that received this prestigious honor. The Rawlings Gold Glove Award is based on outstanding defensive play during the course of the 2016 baseball season in which Tyler started 62 of 64 games at first base for the Darton State College Cavaliers. Overall for the 2016 season he finished up with 461 total chances, 427 putouts, 30 assist, 30 double plays and 4 errors for a 991 fielding percentage.
