CUTHBERT, Ga. -- Deion Sellers punched a two out, 2-RBI single, up the middle, in the bottom of the 8th inning, to give the Tigers a 6-5 lead, then stole third base, and scored an insurance run on a wild pitch, to pace the Tigers over West Georgia Tech, 7-5 at Hord on Wednesday. Chandler Raiden ran his season record to 3-3 with the win in relief, and Levi Knight knotched his 3rd save on the year.
Sellers, Mike Warren, Brett Anderson, Anthony Young, Michael Branche, and Jack Bell all had a pair of hits, with Anderson and Bell each doubling in a run, while Branche also had an RBI. Sellers added 3 stolen bases in the game.
Christian Aragon started and pitched 6 strong innings, allowing 3 hits and 1 run, while striking out 3, and left with a 3-1 lead.
The Tigers travel to Carrollton, Ga., for a double header on Saturday, and a single nine-inning game on Sunday, to finish the four game series with West Georgia Tech.
