Local youth becomes Honorary Coach for GHC Chargers basketball

In athletics, we place a high level of importance on winning and losing. We describe games as wars or battles. In reality if we truely step back and take a long hard look at what is really important it's the things that athletics bring to peoples lives that are really important and lasting.
Georgia Highlands College found out about 8 year old Daniel Vellion and his fight with a brain tumor and brought Daniel in and made him part of the Charger family and Honorary Coach this past Wednesday in a game against conference member South Georgia Tech.
