Teams ready for GCAA Cross Country Championship
The first of the GCAA Fall Championships takes place this Saturday with Division I and Division III members heading to Macon for the GCAA Cross Country Championship. Central Georgia Tech is hosting this year's event that will take place at the Ga. Industrial Children's Home.
Several teams took advantage of running the course as CGTC hosted a meet at the same location earlier this year. Runners will race on a primarily flat course with a few hills, over grass and trails. The men's 8K will start at 10 am and will be followed by the women's 5K at 10:45 am. The NJCAA national championship will follow two weeks later with the DI event in Lubbock TX and the DIII event in Canadaigua, NY.
